About OakenCloud
OakenCloud Technologies, LLC is a software automation company. We build the systems that replace spreadsheets, PDFs, and copy-paste work in telecom, GIS, engineering services, and healthcare, and we build and run our own products on the same stack.
What we do
We build custom automation for teams whose work runs on data spread across too many systems: operations dashboards that pull directly from Salesforce, SharePoint, and GIS sources; document and permit automation; billing and reconciliation pipelines; and production AI agents that call real tools under strict limits. The software runs on the client's infrastructure or ours, has automated tests, and is monitored once it's live.
Recent examples include an operations dashboard suite for a fiber-to-the-home builder covering more than 11,000 construction projects, and the tool-using AI agent behind PsyFi Practice.
Our companies and products
PsyFi Technologies is an OakenCloud company. It's the name we use for our healthcare and mental-health products.
- WhereWolf GIS: AI search across public GIS layers from all 67 Florida counties: parcels, zoning, utilities, and more, with GeoJSON and Shapefile export.
- PsyFi Practice: A clinical documentation platform for therapists and psychologists, with session transcription, note drafting, and assessment-report tools. Built by PsyFi Technologies, an OakenCloud company.
- Ordísio: An AI-assisted productivity tool that streamlines workflows and automates repetitive tasks.
- The Last Mile: A browser game about routing fiber to homes, trading off trenching against directional boring.
Founder
Jake Edwards founded OakenCloud and leads its engineering. He builds and ships the company's client systems and products, from telecom reporting pipelines to the agent loop in PsyFi Practice, and writes about what worked and what didn't in our case studies and white papers.
How we work
- Start from the numbers people already trust. We match existing reports before we improve them.
- Ship in small steps. Most projects deliver something usable in 2–6 weeks.
- AI-assisted, independently reviewed. We use AI coding agents heavily, and every significant change gets independent review and staging QA before it reaches production.
- Fail loudly. Systems refuse to publish data that doesn't reconcile, and alert us when something breaks.
